WIth the coming of the so called “next gen” console, it was possible to play games with better graphics than usual by buying a High Definition (HD) television. First I was pretty skeptical about that, but now I have one, I can’t agree more: a HD television really boosts up the graphics. About one and a half year ago, the Wii arrived in stores. It promised a whole new way of controlling your games, slightly better graphics than on the GameCube and even online options, making it a worthy “next-gen” console. Being a Nintendo fanboy, I believed this, and bought the console a few days after its release. Nearly a year after that event, I bought an Xbox 360. The reason why I did that is simple: the Wii is not what I expected it to be; it disappointed me. So, why isn’t the Wii what I expected it to be? (read more…)
